choice is a misleading concept! all our choices are influenced by such external things as circumstance. I doubt we ever truly get to choose anything... (except perhaps in dreams and that isn't necessarily a good place for that sort of thing)

our choices ARE influenced by external factors.(I don't know what you include in ''circumstances.'') One who makes choices without considering external factors, and choosing among them, would be acting irrationally, and perhaps even dangerously. I hope I ALWAYS consider external factors when making choices, especially important choices.

Yes, it happens pretty often... it sucks a lot, but I can't complaint, one time what I thought was going to happen, actually did happen, and now I am able to think about what my life could've been if it hadn't happened, which is really good... until the day that thing is taken away from me (and I know it will) and I start wishing it had never happened at all in the first place. Anyhow, your page is really good... and really long... I'm never sure if I have read everything you wrote in here... that's a good thing.
