it had to come to this. Censorship is evil, I really think so. This site attracts a good amount of random crap, and that's ok - it's part of what makes the site attractive. But page after page after page filled with the same rubbish - it just had to stop. That's why I've spent some time this saturday to develop a tool to cleanup the site.

to decide what has to go and what can stay? Well, if not me, then who? I'm happy to transfer or share the responsibility of keeping this site reasonably clean. You may have noticed that I didn't touch or delete content that I don't like - the ''jokes'', remarks about me personally - it's not about that. It's about all this repetitive rubbish.

If Joggie wished it to NOT be moderated, then he would probably speak up. He has on several occasions granted modmin rights to different bugs. That's what it is, moderation, not censorship. And this is just a website, not Lord of the Flies. Say what you want, but don't abuse your right to say it in order to deface the site. which I feel would detract from other people's rights to express themselves.
