That looks like the lake to the west of Gunnison on US 50. If so, we had a delightful stay at an RV park that was located on the north side of the road. And yes, I downloaded this picture too. Thanks again. Karl

yep, its west of Gunnison - and there were quite a few ice fishers on the ice of another lake opposite this one..( me just too lazy to get on thin ice to capture that..)

maybe ive seen this splat in a different way than it is meant to. But, and im sure that we have the same opinion on this, it would surely be more fun to read and post something in here without this whole spam. and Jogchen can surely not be in here all the time (who with a ''normal'' life otuside could ;-) ) to delet this junk. and there for some ''moderators'' could decrease the time till such postings are deleted (at least in my little world this would make sense :-)

There is no wish to have spam, text blockers or whatever. There is however a recognition that this site is provided for our benefit by Jogchem. It is not for us to make such decisions about who can and cannot post. Maybe, just maybe (dis)organised chaos is what he wants ? Maybe it is a social experiment on his part ? Moderators - who would choose them ? Who would trust them ? Frustrating and annoying as it may be from time to time, it is the best that we have.
