If you want to try it without resizing your partitions and changing bootloaders and all that technical stuff, check out Wubi(Ubuntu). It actually runs within Windows. All you have to do is download it and run the file. I liked it enough that I actually did a full install of Ubuntu. It's really fast and simple so far. Now if I could just get the camera and all the extra buttons to work...
