| see the Northern Lights, go on a snow mobile safari, candlelight reindeer sleigh ride through the forest to meet Santa, Visit a reindeer farm, go on a husky sleigh ride, ice skating, ice fishing. And yes, to build a snowman, throw snowballs and generally have a good time. But the two main reasons are: to take my 14 year old niece to see some snow because we never get more than 1cm of snow here and she is desperate to see snow. To accompany my old school friend to see the Northern Lights, a trip she was going to make with her husband if he survived his heart operation. Sadly he died just before Christmas last year so it's going to be a very special and important trip.
