In the sweetsfactory they use a tray filled with compressed corn-flower. Into that they press a mold with candy shapes, obtaining a negative imprint. They pour the molten winegumgoo in the negative shapes of that tray, and leave it to cool until the gum sets. They turn over the tray on a large sift. the cornflower runs through, leaving the winegums.

are covered with flour and don't look appealing at that stage. Now they put the sweets in a large rotating drum and ad a mixture of vegetable oil and bees wax (or carnauba wax). After processing the sweets will look nice and will not stick together.
