the relation between freedom and religion is a little more complex. Although religion is used to manipulate and control the population, i think it`s origins lie in men`s desire to ask questions, tell storys and, even more, find answers. The problem with religion is that it provides people with fixed set of answers, preventing them asking the right questions.
