Today's TOK class chat: Words. Can words be really that bad? Apparently, if you're Siddhartha, they are. Are they, as some classmates say, just man's form of specific generalizing? Can words ever really describe how you feel? They...they are like the plane with infinite points, ''happy'' is too general. ''Happy'' is just putting your emotion into a category. Words are spectrum, and never can they communicate exactly what one means. It's best to be an optimist in regards to words...or one may never speak again.

I've already posted this once.

I can see the splats that have been deleted. No matter who they're deleted by, or when. It is not me, or Humanoid, deleting your splats. I pay careful attention to what I'm doing, and I can restore your messages if I want to. I don't see anything I can restore, so I can only come to the conclusion that there is some glitch in the system, and there is nothing I can do about it.

And next time, why not come to me directly? Or Humanoid? That would be so much easier, no?

get deleted are deleted by the original poster and that of course deletes everything attatched to it. Nothing of mine has ever been deleted unless it was posted (by the green dot) directly under the original post. Does that make sense? Well I know what I mean.

''filth and indecency'' are subjective terms. What might be offensive to one person is perfectly acceptable comment to another. I am more concerned with the mental health of some of the contributors, than the words by which they express themselves.
