.. in some cases, become a preoccupation. This is so often the case in many lifestyle choices. This is also where choice of community becomes vital. Our patterns of consumption are often dictated by our community, and we attach to these patterns as decorations of our status in it. A paradox, in that, yes, we are more than the sum of what we consume, but what we consume does define who we are in the perception of others, and, too, in our own self-image; innately, we seem compelled to ''characterize''. Likewise are no ''mis-takes''; what we do is what we do, act as we act, yet we may be misguided in our actions. What we choose to do is a matter of mindful reflection. Metta.
