Far enemies show disconnection and near enemies are what drives a disconnection. They are more dangerous and sort of hidden. For example
Love; It's far enemy is absence of love. It's near enemy is attachment (clingy vs. free-flow)
Compassion; It's far enemy is cruelty. It's near enemy is pity.
I found this interesting. Connection; it's far enemy is disconnection. It's near enemy is control. This is deeply rooted in most of our systems. Emotional, cultural, political, digital etc.
