i do that too. i think about all the pictures i'm in the background of and people never knew who i was. i wonder if when i was in hawaii when everyone was on vacation they got me in one of their pictures. and it was a wierd one. and now somewhere off in nebraska they talk about me all the time as ''that one girl who had extremely frizzy hair because of the humidity.... and look, we have a picture of her!!''

i remember one time vividly -- i was driving in the passenger side of a car, i looked to my right, and a flash went off. i saw that it was a family taking a picture with their backs toward the street, meaning the car i was in would be in the photo. i had this weird image in my mind of the family, older, looking through the album in the future and seeing the car in the background, not really noticing it.

I like to take pictures of unknown people who do not know about it. They look very natural. And later, when I look at these photos, I think about them - who were they, what were they doing, were they happy or sad? Try it it's fun. But beware - unknown people usualy do not like to be on your pictures and get angry easily...
