ave! landed back this morning. work went well. i, like some other lunatics, am a motorcycle enthusiast. this though a 'cool' hobby is horribly inconvenient in some seasons. and this being the monsoon in the southern hemisphere, i was once again reminded of my eternal folly. long story short - got drenched in downpours, fever, head cold, can't get time off work, moving in to new apartment = misery. what news aboard The Lesbian Seagull, cap'n? I recommend that we make our passage to the friendly Mediterranean - instead of contending with a Pacific summer or a Atlantic winter. Or it may just must be my cold talking. Your thoughts on this, cap'n?

oh - and i forgot to add! i heard from the master! yes-he mailed me!!! (if this is NOT uncommon - DO-NOT disillusion me, i'd rather feel special in what way i can...)

rotters news report: after rigorous grilling, cap'n skin is reported to have recruited a weapons-warfare specialist for his command. not much is known about 'akula' - the newest member of the crew, though those familiar with him (but choose to remain unnamed in this report) claim he is terror in bathtub warfare. word has it that cap'n skin might be considering promoting himself to admiral to preserve seniority of his command and also because the view from the big chair on the bridge is better than from the cap'n's seat. –contd…

however these reports - coming from disney, producers of 'the pirates of the carribean' - could not be confirmed by more reliable sources. in the meantime, the bush administration is giving signals that they want cap'n skin to join the war on terror... sec'y donald was quoted as saying ''we need terrifying ppl to terrify terror away, yarr'' - possibly indicative of an informal approachment to the mightiest command afloat. reliable sources indicate that the bush administration is afraid of committing their own naval forces to the effort as the entire senior administration is afraid of the water. contd...
