To me, swearing does release some tension at first, but it doesn't really bring relief. I mostly feel like crap after cursing. Usually feeling tired and overwhelmed. Some say the way we 'believe' is related to how we see our parents as they are our first encounter of authority. Swearing displays frustration, feeling abandoned and punished. Banished from paradise. I come from an extremely violent background and had to cut all family lines for my safety. Guess swearing shows my desire for support.
