Even though I'm afraid of it, I consider the dark to be beautiful. It is the absence of everything. It’s the feeling that something is off. When we are in the dark, we miss the light. And when we are in the light, we miss the dark. We need them both. We need the frequent presence of the light, but we also need its absence. And that is something I find truly beautiful.
