its because ppl are usualy afreid of bugs, and here they can asosiet bugs- a creepy discusting thing-with frendlynes. or the crator was wierd.... hehehe

because humans see bugs as insinificant creatures, when really we are just as significant as bugs. and there is a huge variety of different appearances of bugs, which is handy when theres lotsa members here
