for those who want to add Tomtom, 17 Jan 2005 17:19
a little urbane touch to their website, here is a nice little script for the world time:
http://www.jswelt.de/index.php?opencat=JavaScripts&artid=1105952097
- just click the underlined ''(Quelltext anzeigen)'' in the second row, copy the source code and paste it in your site.

To Tomtom.
ps.: Tomtom, 17 Jan 2005 17:35
and of course you can modify the script by adding your favorite bug-time...

To Salmereek.
it's Dec 21 Salmereek, 21 Dec 2004 12:43
is there a way to stop this christmas-shit?

To Nothing.
christmas is crap , 21 Dec 2004 13:12
I agree. waste of time. jesus died for his own sins, not mine. anyway, yuletide is a pagan festival. yet more christian imperialism taking over.

To Bitches.
christmas is crap Bitches, 21 Dec 2004 14:44
r u all thick or something or r u all bible bashersor someone who bums jesus ur all so bastards

for cryin out loud!

To Nothing.
, 21 Dec 2004 15:39
do you take all spoken stories that are only written down a couple of hundred years after they happened as gospel truth? shame if you do. no doubts that jesus was for all intensive purposes a reasonable minded person, with good morals etc, but for him to state he was the son of god with a divine mission to save humankind from all of their sins is purely dellusional to the point of being psychotic. too much ergot in the bread he split perhaps?

To Nothing.
Actually there are copies name, 21 Dec 2004 23:32
of half the books of the new testament in museums dated to a few decades after the events

To Nothing.
rubbish name, 22 Dec 2004 12:54
Even the Roman church (which was the first to spread christianity per se) admits that the books were not compiled until the period of 100 to 200 AD. At anyrate the teachings of Jesus where that of a reformist Jew, hence why he pissed so many people off. Once killed off, seeing as the Jewish faith hated him , the Roman's took his teachings and paraphrased them to suit their own ideals. Remember it wasn't until Martin Luther and the times of the reformation as well that we actually started to see the pronounced differences in Christian teachings that we know of today. This includes each sects beliefs on what actually happened 2000 odd years ago. Truth is, we will never know. Fact is, he was man, not son of god. And he wasn't even born in December. That was just a nice trick into conning people in to converting. Alleging it happened on a pagan spiritual day. Sorry rant over.

To Thepinkpantheist.
Thepinkpantheist, 22 Dec 2004 14:47
personally i think that jesus may have actually been a muslim. as for jews, well they only like lawyers, accountants and bank managers. they did'nt like jesus because they also thought that he was muslim. i reckon jeez was a top bloke myself. i told 'ya anyway, to hell with this religous business and suck a rock this christmas. god will be waiting for you.

To Starr.
Yes I believe Jesus is the Son of God... Starr, 22 Dec 2004 14:47
...and I don't know about all that other crap, I only know I have peace in my heart and it's due to my relationship with Him!

To Nothing.
That is not rubbish, friend. name, 23 Dec 2004 00:01
We have portions of the gospels dated by papyrologists to between the late 1st century - mark, luke, maybe matthew - and the early 2nd - john, in the john rylands library. We have paul's letters surviving from perhaps as early as 85 AD (chester beatty, dublin). No one claims these are original copies, so they would be copies of even earlier originals. Also, early christians like ignatius and polycarp quoted the new testament freely in the early 2nd century. The 'Roman church' does not have a unified opinion on this, or very much else. It is not an authority. Just look at its opinions on condoms and AIDS. The work of NT scholars like philip comfort, who know what they are talking about, is worth reading instead.

jesus was a psycho too? Thepinkpantheist, 21 Dec 2004 16:55
great; i feel much better now. even so i am glad that someone pointed out that yuletide is actually a pagan festival, which means that there is no reason why it can't be celebrated together by all psycho's and even these religous people. so why dont we all just suck rocks and get as close to God as possible this christmas. i done it last christmas and boy i tell you, it was the best christmas a prisioner could wish to have. ask mr mr pink he agrees with me about everything.

Evelle... Bluebell, 25 Dec 2004 04:39
Don't let the mite get the best of you! I may not always show it, but I AM your friend. However, all you do is complain and feel sorry for yourself. Try and get a more positive attitude. We ALL have problems in this life, but honestly, it benefits no one when you just give out negative vibes. TRY hard my dear x-catarpillar, to leave some good comments on the board so all bugs may benefit from some positive comments. And by the way, Merry Christmas...if you even believe in Christmas!
