I've always thought that socks are better left unpaired. Why should you have to wear two socks the same color? Do both people in a pair have to be the same color?? NO! Wearing unmatched socks is a way of expressing a preference to spend time on the important things in life, and let the little things happen as they will. Life is too short to be frustrated over wtf happened to the second sock in a pair. My drawer is full of unmatched socks and they're the happiest socks I've ever known! They intermingle and have fun, especially when the lights are out (I'm SURE that's where those little socks came from).
For these reasons, I urge you:

UNPAIR YOUR SOCKS!!! SET THEM FREEEEE!!

Let those socks express their SOXUALITY. I, myself, put on a blindfold when I'm putting my clean socks away. Just randomly grab 2 socks, sight unseen, no peeking from behind the blindfold, roll them 2 suckers up, throw 'em in the drawer....and let the fun begin! Sometimes at night there's so much noise coming outta the top drawer of the dresser, I can't get to sleep! Well, at least someone's (something's) happy in life! Liz

Mix...DON'T Match...works great for socks. I, myself, make sure to wear a blindfold, when I put my socks away. Randomly grab 2 socks, and roll 'em up! socks are not always in pairs....but pairs are not always socks either. Some socks look better in pairs. Some pairs look better in socks....it depends on the weather really.....the weather isn't a pair....so socks should be optional

If a sock is not in a pair then what is it in. I've never bought one sock before. All my socks come in twos. And you know... I like it that way. Why would I want to wear one sock, it just doesn't make any sense. If you're only wearing one sock then one of your feet would be cold or one of your feet would be hot.
