To Geezer.
And finally, for now. Geezer, 09 Feb 2012 01:59
Read the 3rd one first.
Something I haven't figured is what's with BillyB. He obviously has a ''thing'' for you but I don't know if that's based on a current or former relationship, but he DOES have a ''thing.'' Notice how he tweeks you and trys to get you to respond. As I said, I haven't figured this out, but I'm working on it. I should say ''WE'' are working on it. My wife is helping me and provides valuable insight to the female psyche.

I don't think you are happy with your looks, and maybe with your life, but hang in there. You can see BillyB likes your looks, and life gets better when you will start to succeed in your endeavors.
Okay, I'm off to study your old posts to see what else I can learn.

bit right this time

To Nothing.
However ! changed to 12 now .... hmmmm, 09 Feb 2012 21:09
In distant times ''yore'' would be quite acceptable.

To Geezer.
And there's more. Geezer, 09 Feb 2012 01:57
You live, or were raised, in either the U.K. or Australia. Judging from the time you post, I think the U.K. now. You mentioned attending school, and I think that is college, or Univeresity as you say over there. You seem to be having some difficulty in your studies and I think it is the material, rather than the professors. If it doesn't come easy for you, you must work a little harder. I think you are in Liberal Arts, but I haven't pinpointed it yet.

To Geezer.
Okay, Depen, I'm figuring you out! Geezer, 09 Feb 2012 01:55
Well, I haven't answered all my questions, but I went back and copied all your old posts. I confess I haven't been completely honest and I have done some things to get your response for analysis. Here's what I know: First, you are obviously female. From what you have written, you are between 17 and 21, and I think about 20 is accurate. In an early post you revealed your name starts with a ''J'' as in Jennifer or Jeanette.

To Geezer.
Sure to bring comments Geezer, 03 Feb 2012 22:29
I, and many other genealogy enthusiasts, are able to witch (divine) for buried bodies much as some witch for water. The sex and approximate age at time of death can also be determined. Some can witch and some can't. I can't explain how or why this works, but it does. Would you like to discuss this?

To Nothing.
no in other words: necrphilia for hobbyists, 04 Feb 2012 01:45
just no

To Geezer.
WOW! Amazin' and amusin' Geezer, 04 Feb 2012 17:21
''Necrophilia?'' C'mon...I used it to find my great-grandfather's grave so I could put up a marker to honor him. I have neither the obsession nor erotic interest in the dead that necrophilia includes. Somehow, I get the feeling you are uncomfortable or not interested in discussing this topic. That's okay. No need to explain.

To Nothing.
Can you tell me anything about this... Just sayin', 05 Feb 2012 19:34

To Geezer.
What would you like me to tell you? Geezer, 05 Feb 2012 23:30
I went to the link you listed and listened to the Pointer Sisters. Are you asking me to tell you about witching (divining) or about the Pointer Sisters. I know a little about the former and nothing about the latter except that one (the middle one?) was institutionalized some years ago. How can I help you? Let me know.

To Nothing.
Thank you #more, 06 Feb 2012 12:26
that was all I wanted you to tell me.

Geezer, what do you think about this... influenza, 06 Feb 2012 15:08
www.youtube.com/watch?v=129kuDCQtHs&ob=av3e

To Geezer.
I'm surprised you asked. Geezer, 06 Feb 2012 23:51
But, of course, I'm gonna answer. Well, for openers, years ago Brucey Baby looked a whole lot younger. The music itself has a definite beat, if not much melody. The words rhyme, but don't make much sense. They are a sort of rhyming Rorschach test in that they rely on the listener to give them meaning and the substance they don't contain. After a short time, even a Rorschach gets kinda boring in repetition. I would say the young female pulled onstage was a ''plant.'' She was taking the experience with Bruce the Mighty too casually for it to have been spontaneous. How'd I do?

And I hope you are feeling better. Influenza is always miserable, and sometimes fatal. Take care!

To Depen.
Its interesting what you are saying Depen, 07 Feb 2012 03:10
because its ''true''. Some of it anyway. I'm not sure what your taste in music is but try taking a listen if you care to some ''techno'' music. The music is produced in such a way that the listener projects his mind into the fragmented melodies and the experience of the music is therefore unique to each listener, although the better the production the more that people will enjoy it to the same level. Do you think there is maybe some kind of conspiracy amongst producers to make music in this way?

To Geezer.
No. No conspiracy. Geezer, 07 Feb 2012 03:36
There is too much rivalry between them to allow for any conspiracy. I think they just produce what they can induce the public to buy. I prefer my music to be relaxing and soothing, or subtley stimulating. But then, remember, I'm an ol' Geezer. I remember too well the ''Big BAnds'' and the music of the 40's. Back then, when we danced with a lady, we could actually touch her, and we moved as a fluid unit. I can still smell the soft perfume and feel the warm breezes. Ah, youth!

To Depen.
I can't remember where I was in the 40's Depen, 07 Feb 2012 04:02
Hell I wasn't even born! But as to the dancing sure its not the same its evolved certainly and the touchy feely bit is left for later!!

To Geezer.
Well, Depen. . . Geezer, 08 Feb 2012 18:21
way back then we waited a while before there was much ''touchy-feely'' permited. Many of us didn't do the ''serious touchy-feely'' thing until after standing in front of our friends and relatives and meeting the preacher. Did the ''T-F thing'' mean more of a commitment than it does today? Perhaps,But then, you must remember, I'm an ol' geezer, but the memories still sweeten my mind.

To Depen.
Geezer, how on earth did you realize Depen, 04 Feb 2012 13:54
that you had this skill?

To Geezer.
Hi Depen Geezer, 04 Feb 2012 17:30
I wouldn't call it a skill. I didn't have to learn much to try it. I found out about it from an elderly historian in the county where my ancestors lived. He was reluctant to tell me, fearing I might laugh at him. I was trying to find the graves of my Great-grandfather and ggmother. He finally told me and I tried it. It really works in ''blind'' tests. (No, we didn't dig up any graves.) We just tried it where we couldn't see the tombstone inscriptions. Some of the things I have learned about it are astounding. And it is also possible to learn the sex of the buried, so I could tell which was my ggfather and which my ggmother. This thing is well-documented and rather widely used, but not talked about, for obvious reasons. Thank you for your interest. I'll answer any questions I can.

To Geezer.
Perhaps Geezer, 31 Jan 2012 22:32
Maybe one of the reasons good conversations here are so scarce is that so many use just the six-legged ''mite'' and ''name'' for identification. One never knows if the post is from an old friend or a potential new friend. I remember when the ''mite'' was an oddity here, and there were so many good exchanges. Them there were the days!

To Nothing.
snore snooze yawn, 01 Feb 2012 07:12
I remember when bugsuits were an oddity. Stop imposing your personal preferences. Each to their own. I very much enjoy the mites for a whole raft of reasons.

To Geezer.
Oh! My! Geezer, 01 Feb 2012 20:37
Someone has a problem. I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough for you to understand what I was saying. Please don't feel I was trying to ''impose'' when I was only ''remembering.'' I didn't even mention ''personal preferences.'' Please re-read what I wrote, but let's not try to start an argument. You probably have some really worthwhile thoughts we can discuss. Certainly, you should enjoy this site in whatever way pleases you.

To Nothing.
Oh my! Someone is pointing at someone! Not arguing: agreeing perpendicularly, 02 Feb 2012 08:27
Sorry sorry sorry sorry. I meant TRYING to impose. Ever so sorry. And, excuse me for saying this, I didn't mention 'problem', nor 'understand' nor 're-read' or 'argue'.

To Geezer.
You are forgiven Geezer, 02 Feb 2012 18:10
and your apology, although unnecessary, is accepted. Now we can both feel better. I look forward to many more friendly exchanges of thoughts, opinions and ideas. I do hope I can rcognize your writing style so I'll know it's YOU.

I have been forgiven!!

To Rosibutterfly.
here's an interesting thought Geezer ... Rosibutterfly, 03 Feb 2012 13:04
sometime in the future, these are going to be the 'good ole days'!!

To Geezer.
AS usual. . . Geezer, 03 Feb 2012 18:00
You are right, Ms. Rosi, and can you even imagine how BAD things are gonna be when we think of these as ''the good ol' days?'' BTW, it's ALWAYS a joy to hear from you. Don't be a stranger.

To Nothing.
I beg to differ Agreeing perpendicularly again, 04 Feb 2012 02:31
these are not bad times, they are great times. Just look at the reply to your latest post- that is great! Now put your positive hat on!

To Geezer.
''Agreeing'' you are RIGHT! Geezer, 04 Feb 2012 17:14
Never have things been better. The world is secure; there is no threat of nuclear disaster; oil prices are at an all-time low; all nations have agreed to exist in perfect harmony; there is NO financial crises anywhere, world poverty and hunger have been eliminated, etc. Yep, these are great times and things are gonna get even better. It's so good and I just overlooked the obvious. Ah, Well. . .Please forgive an ol' geezer.

To Nothing.
but...! PS - I am not right, 04 Feb 2012 22:24
the world has people like you: aware, sensitive, grateful to people who show interest in your gift, ready to answer questions, incredibly forgiving of people who say you impose your preferences on others - how could it not be great?

To Geezer.
To ''agreeing'' and ''PS''and mayb more. Geezer, 05 Feb 2012 01:14
I do enjoy reading your comments. obviously, you are pretty darned intelligent, and you have a rather droll humor. I LIKE THAT! I hope we can have some good exchanges, but I DO wish you would put an ''X'' or something in your ''name'' line, along with the other words. That way I would know it was you. I think I like you, even without knowing who, or what, you are.

To Nothing.
I will do that! A little x here n there boowappadoowap x, 06 Feb 2012 19:02

Thank you! You are most considerate. This probably sounds strange, but I'm looking forward to some interesting exchanges with you. Don't disappoint me. As I have said for years, ''I have an EXCELLENT memory, but it's very short.'' Write when you feel like it.

To Nothing.
Is it just me ? Yours faithfully, y (no relation to x), 06 Feb 2012 21:18
I wonder. I read with ever increasing disbelief. No more needs to be said. Not by me. I hope not by anyone. We shall see. Indeed.

To Nothing.
can I please ask z to resist my name is y . Why ? Simply because, 06 Feb 2012 21:21
any temptation to prolong the misery.

To Geezer.
Hey! Geezer, 06 Feb 2012 23:57
Ain't we got fun? Where else can you find so much pure excitement and stimulation at such a reasonable price. Looking for more from ''Y.'' Y I don't know. (Sorry about that.)

To Nothing.
x x x can we still Xchange if I am not x, 08 Feb 2012 08:54

Ms. Tina Geezer, 02 Dec 2011 23:22
Sorry there was no neck-bump or shovel-teeth, but as I said, that doesn't rule you out. Certainly I'm not the Melungeon gatekeeper. But you are ALWAYS most welcome to my group (whatever that may be). However, my group would probably have very little ''honor'' as in honorable. ''Onery'' would be more appropriate. If you haven't already checked Melungeon, do a Google search. Fascinating, but a little-known, well-hidden, shameful history of their treatment. It's truly amazing that no history books even mention it. When they were driven back into the Appalacians, for many the chief industry seemed to be the processing of sour-mash to produce a liquid refreshment. (See Big Mamma Collins.) But they are a fine and proud people, with colorful a history.

To Geezer.
Where? Geezer, 25 Mrt 2007 19:30

To Rip.
You can say that again, Rip, 21 Jan 2007 20:43
and you probably will. It's okay. I don't mind. It makes more sense than ''Braindead'' and ''Rule Britania,'' whatever those mean.

To Geezer.
Lois, we talked about you. . . Geezer, 25 Mei 2006 18:24

Here is a site for a spell-binding FREE download. It allows you to really explore the universe in 3-D. And maybe even play a little. You can put in spacecraft, etc., real or imaginary. It's a fully loaded download program and so will take a little while on a dial-up. connection.
