Circles... Oberea, 22 Jun 2004 19:53
Saw a 3 year old run round and round in circles for some 10 minutes in a park today, hands outstreched... then stop, totter around and slump in the grass, motionless, suddenly wake up with a shreiking war cry, amusement, and the running around again!
Whew! What fun! Pity... adults aren't allowed such behavior... *groan...*
As a kid, it was such a big deal being an adult.

To Starr.
huh? Starr, 22 Jun 2004 20:44
WHO SAYS adults aren't allowed that kind of behaviour?!?!!! ;) :D

To Mici.
... Mici, 22 Jun 2004 20:45
Yeah I totally agree with you about ''adults aren't allowed such behaviour''...that's why it is such a fun being baby-sitter. I can dance, read, run with them and it is even desired to play their roles...I laugh with them and hold them tight when they cry. Yeah...kids are something special.

To Saga.
adults... Saga, 22 Jun 2004 21:23

To Buzulefazul.
Jingle dance spin! Buzulefazul, 24 Jun 2004 14:58
I hula-hooped with dance-spin circles for over a half mile (the full length of the seawall), today. Hurrah for the jingle of a bondage belt keeping me in time. When someone asked me, with mild disgust, why I was doing this I responded ''Because I feel like it.'' When I got out of the car at home I could still feel the motion...

To Sis.
I cant hula hoop... Sis, 24 Jun 2004 18:21

Pride and Prejudice. A world of satire and true love. A world where everything is crystal clear to the reader, and yet where new things seem to be happening all the time. You belong in a world where your free thought puts you above the silly masses, and where bright eyes and intelligence are enough to attract the arrogant/prejudiced young man of your choice. hmmmmmmmm

I'm not sure this is accurate, but... Mork, 14 Jun 2004 19:23
In my not so humble opinion, you, of course, belong in the Picture of Dorian Gray, and do not try to deny it. You belong in the fashionable circles of Victorian London where exotic tastes, a double life, decadence, wit and a hypocritical belief in moral betterment make you a home. You belong where the witty apothegms of Lords, the silly moralities of matrons, the blinding high of opium, and the beauty of visual arts mingle to form one convoluted world

The Mysteries of Udolpho Adora, 15 Jun 2004 02:17
Seems that from my results, that I belong in Anne Radcliffe's The Mysteries of Udolpho. I agree, I love Gothic romance, and mystery. My favorite author is Anne Rice.
''Your belonging in The Mysteries of Udolpho is quite evident; a world of intrigue, melancholy, sublimity and terror. You belong where there are danger, gloomy edifices, and evil Italian guardians. Your passion for the passion of the Mediterranean, the divine contemplation of nature, and for adventure stories, makes you a prime contender for a spot in a gothic romance.''

A letter.. Oberea, 01 Mei 2004 18:17
Life can be so many things. It is happiness, it is madness, it is hope, it is trust, it is a commitment, it is dreams, it is a fragile thread, it is a speck of dust in the empty randomness of a beam of sunlight, it is music, it is despair, it is…a single fleeting moment.
It is a solitary fleeting moment in a thousand millenniums.

To Oberea.
Continuum.. Oberea, 01 Mei 2004 18:17
How very true is it… that one moment is all it is. It strikes you on a very sublime note really…you often-even fail to recognize when it passes you by. Sometimes life also passes you by. Just like that. But you always have those moments to hold up as your trophies. A manifestation of having once “been there-done that thing” kind. No? I’ve always felt life is a collation of these discreet moments…the rest of the mundane continuum we drag ourselves thru is vacuum…to fill in upon life when we are on a sabbatical from everything else…and yet still these moments do hold up a promise that it could have been anything…that is the fascination life holds for me. It could have been anything!

To Oberea.
... Oberea, 01 Mei 2004 18:18
And on further thought- it seems to be an end in itself. Life IS in reality a collation of a handful of discrete, fleeting, time bound, quanta of moments credited to us. One may choose not to have any carry over of one past into the oncoming one- or one may decide to loose the oncoming-as yet unsoiled moment into a deluge of emotions flooding our past. It is here that the individual is endowed with the power- to have a say into how he wishes to shape things. To give himself another chance in that incoming singularity of another fleeting moment!
I wonder why people are afraid to take a chance on life.
To live life discretely as a collation of moments that will be taken away from you once their time is past…! I wonder why!
