Easter traditions Anzu, 14 Apr 2006 22:31
What kind of Eastertraditions do u have in your coutries. Here in Finland we eat quite strange foods on Easter. We have ''mämmi'', Easterpudding, witch is quite good with cream, but but people (also me) think that ''mämmi'' looks like poo. Yumm! ''Delicious''! How ''lovely''! ;)
I found an interesting link about this food:

Russian Easter Pudding Hallie, 14 Apr 2006 23:36
It's called Pascha (Pas'cha) and also means Easter, and Passover. Remember eating it at my grandparents' house. Delicious cream cheese dessert. Recipe below.

:-) DISCLAIMER :-) Hallie, 15 Apr 2006 00:13
Even though the above recipe was published by a witches' site, I am in no way affiliated with them, although I can cackle like one, hehehehe.
The pudding is so good, even witches like it.

what? Seltaeb, 15 Apr 2006 10:28
There's no reason to feel the need to disconnect yourself from wicca/witches and paganism. There's nothing wrong with them. They're not lik the stereotypical Halloween witches or anything...

no offense intended to wicca. Just that i am not part of that religion.

Sadly, Easter traditions Twi, 14 Apr 2006 23:43
in England seemed to be centred on visiting the supermarket on Good Friday, rather than observing the true meaning of what Easter commemorates. While it is cute to enjoy fluffy rabbits, chicks and Easter eggs, I wonder how many realise the significance of Easter? Anyway, be whatever it means to others, I am not particularly religious so live and let live is what I say. Now may I have a bit of Easter egg, please? ;)

we visite seven churches, we avoid eating meat and only eat fish, which i personally hate =S . It is something new to buy and eat chocolate eggs and make those bunny things. And there are of course those clasic oooolllddd movies you can watch so maaaannyyy times...
